CERTIFICATION OF ROAD TEST

The Celebrity Limo Group will only hire drivers that have passed a Certification of Road Test in accordance with the FMCSAR 391.31.  If an applicant has a CDL License, according to the USDOT and the FMCSA, that is equivalent to a Certification of Road Test. Each applicant is given a Training Supervisor upon hire. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

During your Road Test we will meet you at our limo lot. 675 East Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760. Proper Dress is not required. Before you get behind the drivers wheel, we will chauffeur you so you can see first hand what we are looking for.  We are looking for drivers who do 2 things.  (1) Drive Safe (2) Drive Smooth.  Once behind the wheel you can show us your driving skills. If you pass, you your Training Supervisor will submit a Certification of Road Test.

FOCUS POINTS

1. Safety: Driving safe is your highest priority

2. Smoothness: Driving smooth is key to employment as a Celebrity Chauffeur.

3. Acceleration: A client should never feel you accelerate.

4. Lane Changing: Your lane changing should be slow and smooth.

5. Braking: A client should never feel you brake.

6. Awareness: It should be evident tht you are well aware of your surrounding.

7. Proper Distancing: You should be far from the vehicle in front of you at all times. Even at a red light.

AUTO FAIL

If you cannot preform all 7 of the steps above during your Road Test you will be given an AUTO FAIL. We value human lives way to much to employ a non-experienced driver. If you do fail your Road Test and want to talk about it, we do not mind being 100% transparent with you. Feel free to contact us.
