VERIFICATION OF MEDICAL EXAMINER

Due to a new FMCSAR in 2026, a verification must be done to all Medical Examiners to see if they are certified to administer a Medical Card. All Medical Examiners must now be listed in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. The primary mission of the National Registry is to improve highway safety by producing trained, certified medical examiners who can effectively determine if interstate commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers meet FMCSA's physical qualification standards. If you get a Medical Card and the examiner is not in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners Database, your Medical Card will not be accepted.
